Terms of Service
Last updated: 10 August 2026
Agreement
These terms govern your use of Extractor, an AI-powered document data extraction platform operated by DECODED LIMITED ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you are accepting on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation.
The service
Extractor lets you upload documents, or connect a mailbox so documents arrive automatically, and converts them into structured data using extraction templates you define. Results can be reviewed and corrected in the application, exported, or delivered to your own systems via API and webhooks.
Accounts
Extractor is passwordless: you sign in with a single-use code sent to your email address. Access to your account therefore depends on access to that mailbox, and you are responsible for keeping it secure.
You are also responsible for the accuracy of your account details, for keeping confidential any API keys you generate, and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly if you believe your email account or an API key has been compromised.
Your content
You retain all rights to the documents and data you submit. You grant us a limited licence to process that content solely to provide the service to you — storing it, extracting data from it, and returning results.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to submit the content you upload or that arrives through a connected mailbox, including where it contains personal data belonging to others.
Acceptable use
You may not use Extractor to process content unlawfully, to infringe the rights of others, to attempt to gain unauthorised access to the platform or other tenants' data, to interfere with the service's operation, or to circumvent usage limits. We may suspend accounts that do so.
AI-generated results
Extraction is performed by machine learning models and is not guaranteed to be complete or accurate. Results are provided for review — you should verify extracted data before relying on it for any decision with legal, financial or operational consequences. We are not liable for decisions made on the basis of unverified output.
Third-party integrations
Where you connect a Google or Microsoft account, your use of those services remains subject to the relevant provider's own terms. We access data from those accounts only as described in our Privacy Policy, and you can disconnect at any time.
Availability
We aim to keep Extractor available and performant, but the service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features, and will give reasonable notice of material changes where we can.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for loss of profits, revenue or data, arising from your use of the service. Our total aggregate liability is limited to the amounts you paid us for the service in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Termination
You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access where these terms are breached, or where required by law. On termination, your content is deleted as described in our Privacy Policy.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service evolves. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance, and the "last updated" date above will change.
